전 세계 59%의 富를 6명이 소유하고있는데, 모두 미국이고,

When you look at the world from this point of view, you can
see there is a real need for solidarity, understanding, patience and education.
이렇게 보면 우리에게 절실히 필요한 것은 도움, 이해, 인내, 교육이라는 걸
알게됩니다.

전쟁의 공포
속에 살고있지 않고,
the loneliness of the jail cell, the agony of torture,
감옥 속의 외로움을 느끼고 있지 않고, 고문의 고통을 격고 있지 않고,
or
hunger,
굼주림에 시달리고있지 않다면,
you are happier than
500 million people in the world.
우리는 그렇지 않은 5억명 보다 행복한
것이고,
If you can enter into a church (mosque) without fear of jail or
death, you are happier than 3 million people in the world.
절이나 교회나 성당을, 감옥 행이나 죽엄의 공포 없이 자유롭게 갈수 있다면, 그러지 못한 지구상의 3백만명 보다
행복한겁니다.
If there is a food in your fridge,
냉장고에 먹을 께 있고,
you have shoes and clothes,
입을 옷과 신을 신이있고,
you have bed and a roof,
지붕이 있는 잠자리가 있으니,
you are richer then 75% of the people
in the world.
우리는 지구상의 75%의 사람들 보다 부자입니다.
If
you have bank account, money in your wallet and some coins in the money-box,
은행계좌가있고, 지갑에 돈이 들어있고, 집안에 동전도 있다면,
you belong
to the 8% of the people on the world, who are well-to-do.
우리는 지구상의 인구 중 8%에 해당하는 복 받은 사람들입니다.
If you read this
you are three times blessed because:
당신이 이 글을 읽고 있다면 신의
가호를 3번 받은겁니다:
1. somebody just thought of
you.
당신을 생각하는 사람이 있다는거고,
2 . you don't belong
to the 200 million people that cannot read.
2억명이나 되는 문맹자
중에 들지 않는다는 거고,
3 . and... you have a computer!
컴퓨터가 있다는 겁니다.
As somebody once said:

일은 돈이 필요없는 사람같이 하고,

사랑은 한번도 상처를 받아보지 않은 거 같이 하고,

- Live, as if the Earth was a heaven.'
삶은 이 세상이 천당인 거 같이 사시는 겁니다.
